English Summer Camp 2018

is an 8 day camp dedicated to Building Character, Confidence in English Communication, Independence, Friendships and a Sense of Adventure in your child.  


The safety and security of your child is very important to the entire ELC team.   Our teachers, assistants, camp manager and medical staff are dedicated to support the children in their adventures.   Before departure and during the camp, the liaison officer is always available to answer any queries.

6 km outside Velingrad in a tranquil setting among the hills and away from the distractions of the busy town, is our hotel. www.hotelzora.net   They are used to having green schools, summer camps and adventure groups just like ours.  For this reason the accommodation, sports, recreational and classroom facilities are perfect for our children.


ENGLISH TIME

English language is the key to ELC Summer Adventure Camp.  
It’s called ‘total immersion’ when ONLY English is spoken every day, all day.  The teachers and assistants are native English speakers – only the liaison officer & medical staff speak Bulgarian / English.  
There are 3 hours of planned English lessons dedicated to learning and reinforcing new vocabulary every day.
We love that children have so many ideas and camp will encourage them to use their imagination through art, music, acting, costume making, photography, and creative writing.
All of these ideas and skills will culminate to produce a show on our last evening together.

There is a busy adventure and scout program planned, at the same time learning to care about and to respect – nature and the environment.  
They will also enjoy trekking, orientation both day and night, learn to use a map and compass, paintball, archery, canoeing, rock climbing to name but a few. “Go together like a ‘horse and carriage’.”  
Despite their busy outdoor adventures, each day there will be some allotted time for team sports, early morning yoga, Tai-Chi or aerobics.
There will be ample opportunity to practice  agility, speed, logical thinking and teamwork.  Also, to learn basic first-aid.
What better way to wind down after a busy day but to demonstrate what they have learned and achieved through games, contests, theatre and music.
Even more opportunities to practice their English language in a relaxed and casual environment.  

The dates for the English Learning Centre, Varna -

Thursday 26 July 2018 – Saturday 04 August 2018
Transport is organized FROM Varna only, we will depart on the night train to Plovdiv, then transfer to Velingrad from there.
On Saturday 04 August, transport is organized for the return trip to Varna.  The final timetable will be confirmed soon.


The price for the
 English Learning Centre, Varna “English Summer Camp 2018”
 is 560 leva all inclusive.   
Payable in two installments 1) deposit 300 leva on registration:
